Install once. Configure from Shopify.

1. Install and approve access

1. Install Catering Planners from its approved Shopify App Store or test-install link.
2. Review the requested product, cart transform and validation permissions.
3. Open the app and complete the setup guide.

2. Create your first catering product

Open Product Wizard, add package tiers and choose either Install sample setup or Start empty. The sample preview shows every menu item, delivery region and add-on before anything is created.

3. Enable the storefront extension

1. From the app dashboard, select Theme editor.
2. In App embeds, enable Catering Planners Storefront.
3. Save the theme and preview a configured catering product and the cart.

The extension handles the builder, cart presentation, enquiry dialog and customer order details. Do not paste the extension JavaScript or application URL into theme files.

Custom themes

Online Store 2.0 themes should work through the app embed without Liquid edits. If a custom theme uses unusual product or cart markup, first enable the embed and test the product, cart and customer order pages.

Compatibility checklist

• The theme renders Shopify's standard content_for_header and content_for_layout objects.
• The product template has a visible main element or product section.
• The cart uses real Shopify line items and preserves line-item properties.
• The theme does not block app extension assets, dialogs or cart Ajax requests.

If presentation still conflicts, send the theme name, preview URL and screenshots to support. We will provide scoped CSS selectors or a compatibility patch for that theme. Replacing core Liquid files is a last resort and should be performed in a duplicated, unpublished theme.

Standard and Shopify Plus stores

The app detects supported capabilities and selects the correct pricing engine. Merchants use the same package builder and admin workflow; no product duplication or manual plan toggle is required.

Delivery enquiries

Selecting Other as the delivery region changes only that catering cart into an enquiry. The merchant receives the selections and notes by email, and the enquiry is retained in the app's Enquiries screen.
